This site is a companion to the blog on markstoneman.com, run by me, Mark Stoneman, an independent historian, editor, and translator in New Hampshire.

I’ve set up this separate newsletter site because of my changed approach to blogging. Nowadays I mix short, Twitter-like comments with regular blog posts. In the newsletter, however, I plan to bring posts together every week or two. I’ll leave out the chaff and try to form the wheat into a somewhat more meaningful whole.
